Today I would like to share with you my December 2019 Paper Pumpkin Kit Alternatives. Do you enjoy surprises? Do you enjoy crafting? Then make sure you check out the Paper Pumpkin kits from Stampin’ Up! Every month you will receive a kit with all of the supplies needed a fun project. While they are usually cards, sometimes they have included other projects such as tags, gift bags and treat holders. One of the best things is you always get a stamp set and an ink spot that you get to keep when your kit is done. This is a great way to build up your stamping stash!
Every month I eagerly await my kit in the mailbox. I then challenge myself to come up with alternative projects and hopefully inspire you to get the most out of your kits.
The December 2019 Paper Pumpkin Kit Alternatives were created by adding just some pieces of Whisper White Thick card stock and a couple of scraps of card stock. Many of the colored pieces were cut from the back panels of the card bases included in the kit.
Each kit includes all of the supplies needed for the projects. There are always additional pieces left over including die cuts, stickers, embellishments and ribbon. Of course you keep the stamp kit and ink spot each month as well.
I made the above card during my YouTube tutorial. I LOVE to mix patterned papers. This kit was full of beautiful patterns on the card bases and the stickers. I cut floral background to 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″. I then trimmed the polka dot patterned paper to 3 3/4″ x 5″.
The patterned papers were adhered together first and then the sticker placed on top going over the edge. The sticker was then trimmed down to the size of the patterned paper. I used one of the sentiment strips with the edge trimmed to the side of the card.
