Well, I made it through the second week without missing any days of posting new tutorials! This has been fun and caused me to stretch myself and make time to come up with new designs and techniques to share. If you haven’t subscribed to my YT channel make sure you hop on over there so you don’t miss future projects and I hope to see you over on my Facebook Group!
Let’s see what the second week of projects were!
Day 8 focused on ink smooshing to create backgrounds. On this card I used greens and browns to create a masculine card. The Winter Woods stamp set and coordinating dies were used to complete the look.
Day 8 was the two year anniversary of my first YouTube video. I thought it would be fun to take the layout from my first video and update it a bit. It actually posted on the 9th but I created it on the 8th so that counts, right?
Day 10 brought on a little more challenging card. This was a W-Fold card using the gorgeous tropical paper. Check it out and let me know what you think!
Day 11 we focused on the Hinge Step Technique with the Stamparatus. The rainbow of colors is so bright and makes for a fun card! So easy to do with a stamp positioning tool.
Next up is a fun fold flap card using the Back on Your Feet stamp set. This turtle is so adorable and then you have a fun surprise behind the flap!
I couldn’t put the Back on Your Feet stamp set away without playing with this little sloth. If you didn’t know I have a thing for sloths and you’ll see images around my home. My cat is actually named after the sloth from Ice Age. The challenge for today was using embossing folders.
Wrapping up the second week we made another gift item. These little mini journals are great for craft fairs as well. So easy to make and a great low price point to draw a crowd to your booth.
